Series Description:
Monty's Very Short Shorts is a work-in-progress collection of 366 illustrated very short stories inspired by the #vss365 prompts on Twitter. I believe this is the first ever collection of such stories that are fully illustrated. I never intended it, but this project has become my daily journal for this wacky and crazy year. This is the result. A bit messy, but isn't that how life works?
Warning: while some of these short stories will make you chuckle, others reference depression adn self-harm/suicidal ideation. If you are dealing with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please reach out for help. It can get better, but it's awfully hard to do it alone.

Monty Vern is a creator of written stuff - an aspiring writer, shameless illustrator, and fallible editor.
Monty was born out of the brain of a work-in-progress human that has just recently discovered a passion for writing and illustrating. Monty's human grew up in Vermont, USA and currently resides in Shanghai, China.
Thirteen Words, Monty's debut as a writer/illustrator, is a collection of illustrated 13-word poems published in September 2020.
