Author Bio For Lou Jent:

Laura Jent is known to her friends and family as 'Lou', and doesn't mind if strangers consider themselves friends. She has been writing poetry for 20 years but still can't sit still long enough to learn how to make a balloon animal. Her work has been published by online publications such as Shampoo Poetry and Lodestar Quarterly, as well as in print by local publications like the Blotter and IndyWeekly, and nationally in ISM magazine. She is mom to a self-proclaimed future president and a devoted partner to another poet, with whom she is coaching the UNC CUPSI team for 2017, and she does it all in Durham, NC.
