The rest of the stack of messages called to me, but it was already time to go to work and I hadn’t even gotten ready yet. I quickly gulped down the rest of my cold coffee, washed my face, brushed my teeth and changed my clothes. Things were getting interesting now. I wanted to know where Mike was and what he was going to do since his plan had failed.

But for now that would have to wait.
