Kalika: Vol One
By Judith Boswell

Series Description:

The streets are rough in O-Town, rougher for a woman than the places she grew up, but Kalika is no ordinary woman. At six foot five, schooled in martial arts and under the protection of a mysterious white wolf, she can handle herself.

Transformation.

Kalika has recreated herself. Minus a boyfriend and with a new name, she is ready for a new start, as the woman she was always meant to be.

Empowerment.

One night, self protection stops being the goal. Kalika makes a vow to take back the night for every woman in the city.

Destruction.

Kalika's desire for vengeance has grown out of control and out of proportion. She needs to stop before she endangers herself.

Author Bio For Judith Boswell:

Hi, I’m Judith Boswell. I grew up on a farm in upstate New York as one of ten children. I have been writing stories and poems for as long as I can remember. I majored in Journalism and Political Science in college. I moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina after I finished graduate school, where I work for a gourmet market and bistro. I’m currently working on a third novel, inspired by Irish mythology. My hobbies are knitting, reading, vegetarian cooking, and Netflix.

The Junior Officer, December 2013, Wings e-Press

Chief of Police Bret Skoal is being blackmailed. A videotape showing his excessive use of force on a group of unarmed teenagers has been shipped overnight to the department, just in time to complicate an ongoing homicide investigation.
Officer Robbie Brooks is five years sober, and barely hanging on to his job thanks to Chief Skoal. He’s desk bound and bored, but at least he’s still alive, so long as his old partner doesn’t come back to finish him.
Rookie Lou Culpepper frequently blurs the lines between fantasy and reality, because reality is often so damn unsatisfying. That’s all about to change.

Absolute Joey, April 2014, self published

Joey Brooks is a high school sophomore by day and an alternative video blogger by night. He shares his family dramas, school traumas, make up tips, and heartbreaks with the world. His latest crush, Myles, is a possibly straight classmate in a long line of hetero heartbreakers. Myles’ closest friends are a group that has tortured Joey his whole life, but that doesn’t stop Joey from forming a fragile relationship.
Michelle Herring is one of the most popular video bloggers on ViraLog with millions of followers and a juicy secret she can’t share with them. Then her lover’s wife tells the world who she really is, and Michelle flees England with the full fury of the tabloids breathing down her neck. She settles in sunny North Carolina as an unremarkable, though remarkably beautiful, police officer in a small town where nothing ever happens.
Until Myles Bonham goes missing one night.
