It was a night just like any other night. At least lately. I had barely arrived at the ranger’s station and there were already four calls of vacationers' homes getting broken into.

Out here in the West Virginia wildlife preserve, people tend to think that just because they plant some houses that the animals should somehow know and respect boundaries. That’s kinda tough when the animals are on a huge plot of land where they’ve never been hunted and never even been threatened by anything other than a bigger animal.

Folks seem to think this is a great vacation spot for them. What they don’t realize is it’s also a great vacation spot for the animals.
