“No, you have to kill them before they get added to the file,” Kevin said. “Before that, they just appear as silhouettes.”

“Then I need you to keep playing the game.”

Kevin recoiled a little.

“Look, I know it bothers you, that you are re-enacting real murders, but I need to know who the other victims are,” Bruce said. “If he hasn’t killed them all, we may even save a life.” 

“He who?”

“Whoever the serial killer is. We need any clues to his identity.”

Kevin hadn’t thought about that. He quickly went back to playing the game.
