Brain, 
what can you offer me?
Brain answers - all 
I have are my synapses,
my lobes, my 
hemispheres -

I'll fuel the wiring 
and the mechanics
for you to calculate
a casual 
summation of the day, 
or to dream of lovers
and far-off places.  

I am 
the circuitry, 
the motor 
and the plug: 
I control the energy 
for the whole of us.
