CHANNILLO

Series Description:

We need to have a way of orienting ourselves within the world.

A word, or a series of words such as a poem, provides us with a way of anchoring ourselves within a wider context, and wider world. It is a way of finding and creating meaning.

But, as poets, we have a deeper level of searching -

do I write a poem about myself, about others, about the world, as a means of doing such - or is a poem merely an expression of my unconscious, or ours, or the collective -

or is, instead, a poem something which I - which we - discover, through searching and exploration - is it, in itself, a finding?

These are some of the thoughts this series will seek to explore - to search out - to find.
