I wake up early, 
open my eyes, 
stretch my arms, 
and smile - 

one 
look deep 
into your eyes - 
I've energy for miles. 

I step outside, 
my legs are tired - 
to tired to carry on - 

take one 
deep breath, 
I think of you - 
these legs are 
ready to run. 

I head back home 
with weary feet - 
head filled with 
all world's woe - 

I think of you - 
the pain, it goes - 
I'll tread through 
hail and snow.
