and letters -

a rut, a trap; 

a friendship, 
romance, 
or an obligation - 

at night 
I gather up 
my dreams, 
for threading 

together the 
fabric of my 
night-time world - 
matching the day 

in only the 
involvement 
of a distant 
reflection of 
myself, who 

lives out 
the richer ...
