I just started digging into your micro-fiction stories and I am really enjoying them! You put us right there with the character and we feel as if we know them so well even though we are with them for a short amount of time. I'm looking forward to reading more!

Thanks so much Kerriann! It's great to hear that you're enjoying the stories. I really enjoy writing stories that drop the reader into the middle of the action. Happy reading! Eliza

Truly enjoyed "Family Secrets." The ending was surprising and a breath of fresh air. Such a great story!

Thank you Kimbally, I'm glad you're enjoying the series and have taken the time to comment. That means a lot!

Thank you for sharing your writing and congratulations. Your characters are so real and jump off of the page. I really like the simplicity and warm emotion of Grandpa's Gift.

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed reading Grandpa's Gift! That story was a particularly close one to my heart, and the challenge of writing it in a non-standard story way made it even more special. I hope you find additional stories that touch you as you continue to read through them.

Your writing gives such great detail ... and it's brief enough to leave just enough to the imagination!
Eliza Leone      10/04/16 5:14 PM
That makes me so happy to hear! One of my favorite parts of writing is hearing how others use their imagination to bring my characters and worlds to life. I'm glad you're enjoying my adventures!

Eliza Leone, you are a gifted writer. I just finished reading "Tennessee." What a good and solid story it is. I really like the dialogue you created in "Tennessee." I cannot wait to read the rest of your series. Keep writing.

I'm so glad you enjoyed Tennessee Devan, and I do hope you enjoy the rest of the stories! Thank you for letting me know what you think, that makes a huge difference and keeps me posting more. And I promise, I will always keep writing. :-)

These stories are spectacular. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

I am honored by your words, truly! Thank you for taking the time to tell me that you are enjoying them. *Grabs pen and notebook* I must write more!

You are such a talented writer! As I read your entries I am in awe of how diverse your short story talent is. I can't help but think, as a reader, how much I'd love to strap into a full story guided by your pen. I suppose that is the art of a short story writer: to leave them wanting. You have succeeded with me. I want to read a full story, written by you, that includes a multitude of characters to follow. I hope I'm not saying this wrong for I am a new scribbler of words. Short version= I really like this.
Eliza Leone      1/24/16 2:52 AM
Hello Rich! Thank you so very very much for your comment and feedback. I am tickled and honored to have read your words and have you think of my writing in this way. I enjoy the short story form, being able to write about whatever I choose and then abandoning it or stamping it done with ease. I have written longer stories as well, three novels in fact, however none of those are published yet because the task of editing them is far greater than that of a short piece. If you're interested in my other work, my book reviews, or my blog is the place to visit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words, it's words like yours that keep writers going. I wish you luck in your own "scribbling" and I'm sure you will accomplish whatever you put your mind to. Keep in touch! Eliza
