Dear Matt,

     I’m sorry I wasn’t the best mom to you like I should have been after I divorced your dad.  I think I went a little wild.  A friend of mine said I was reliving my teen years, dating so many guys, and being stupid.  I wasn’t allowed to date until college, so I was making up for lost time.  When I was allowed to finally date, I dated 1 guy for 2 years, then your dad, only my 2nd boyfriend.  Thankfully, you didn’t follow in my footsteps on that.
