Author Bio For Rebecca L Holland:

Rebecca is a visually impaired, Filipino-American writer from Pennsylvania. Ever since she was young, Rebecca has always had a soft spot for a good love story; however, it deeply bothered her that she could never seem to find heroines who looked like her in the books she so dearly loved. Her longing for diverse representation in literature inspired her to start crafting her own poems and stories.

Her first novel Cinnamon Rolls & Running Shoes, is an homage to the romances she devoured in her teenage years- only with a unique twist. This time, underrpresented groups, like curvy girls, people of color, and characters with disabilities get the chance to take center stage. Even if you're not a person of faith, you will find something to smile about in this humorous, tongue-in cheek, inspirational romantic comedy.

Rebecca is also the author of the Channillo series, Songs for Warriors: Poetry and Prose. Through her writing, Rebecca does her best to inspire others to continue fighting against the darkness of this world.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor in the Science of English Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Dvinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.  Her nonfiction writing related to inclusion and disability awareness has appeared in Hacking Christianity, United Methodist Insight, Bold Blind Beauty, and CAPTIVATING Magazine.

Her poetry and fiction have appeared in or are forthcoming from The Drabble, Bonnie's Crew, The Rest of Us Literary Magazine, 50 Word Stories, The Ametyhyst Review, and Keys for Kids Devotional.
