Walking Through Seasons
By Heather Awad

Series Description:

Change is constant without ever being the same. Sometimes it's good, some it's bad. Sometimes I just like to notice it while I walk through this life, one step at a time, from one season to the next.

Category: Poetry
Updated: Weekly
Status: Completed

Author Bio For Heather Awad:

I'm Heather Awad and I've been writing poetry for the better part of 15 years. Poetry has been the small voice in the back of my mind pushing me to write. I've taken many poetry workshops and read many poets with my "poet of the week." I would stand in the poetry section of the library and pick a new and different poet each week. This is when I found my favorite poet - Billy Collins. In doing this, I also found the poet inside me. The one thing I can tell you about me with absolute certainty, is that there is always a poem rolling around inside my head.

I live with my 13-year old daughter in Endicott, NY, I work in government and I am enrolled half-time at SUNY Delhi, working on my BS degree in Criminal Justice. My first published collection of poetry, The Girl With Blue Umbrella, has been newly released in eBook and paperback.
