G. J. Brown grew up in a small town among the trees and sunshine of the southeast. Her first memory is of trying to read a book and her love of literature has been a constant ever since. She is the author of The Broken Woman Cycle, The AI Archives, and The Chronicles of Arith. She studied Liberal Arts and Education in college. When she is not writing, she teaches English Literature and spends time with her husband, son, and three cats.
