“Director, the device has been detected on the surface. It appeared on radar at 0400 and is currently in static position near the 42nd parallel. We expect to have it in our possession soon.” The Major’s humorless announcement barks from an electronic terminal in the center of the room.

“Do you have a slightly more accurate estimate than ‘soon,’ Major?” responds Director Kayin.
