"Gearing up for a monster hunt" meant strapping on everything. Garrett, Grace, and four of their men pulled on ACUs, helmets, sidearms, M4 assault rifles, and a host of varied grenades. Each man carried night vision goggles and personal communications gear. Silvestri and Sizemore, the two sergeants after Grace, attached M203 grenade launchers to their rifles and each slung a bandolier of 40mm rounds across their chest. Silvestri unboxed one of the team's two AT4 anti-tank rocket launchers and met the dubious stares of his team members with obstinance.
