I am a christian who is an aspiring writer, I fully believe God gave me this gift to share with people. My main goal in writing is to help people in some way. To change lives and help people see the world in a different way, possibly a more beautiful way. Or a more empathetic way. I love my gift of writing as though it were my child. It's precious to me, and sometimes it's hard and it drives me nuts, but I still love it. And I'm so thankful for it.
