Ray Noble is an academic, medical ethicist, author, writer and singer, composer and arranger, and lead singer with the Oxford Trobadors. He is News Editor for Voices from Oxford and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London. He studied zoology and biomedical sciences at Manchester and Edinburgh Universities. He has appeared on The Stephen Nolan show (Radio NI), Woman's Hour (BBC Radio 4), Nightwaves (BBC Radio 3) and various TV programs, including 21st Century Girl's Guide to Sex and The Unofficial World Record of Sex. He has published work on multiple subjects across science, humanities and politics. He is the author of It Wasn't Always Late Summer, writes a regular blog as The Thin End, and presents a podcast, The Thin End Show. His latest book for Cambridge University Press, Understanding Living Systems, is set for publication in July 2023.
