"This is awesome Tom! I'm so excited for more of the story. I love it when an author can take us through training like this and so far you're killin' it! Great fight scenes to, just the right amount of discription."

"Hey Mark, I'm really digging the story so far. You've really put a lot of time into this already and it shows. You have a lot of characters going that I like and the world building is exquisite. Thanks for the effort so far in bringing this together, I can tell it's going to make The Rise of Al'daer so good!"

"You asked me what I got from The Rockery: Darkness. A lingering darkness abiding in something. Each line seemed to mirror that with your word choices throughout and then the end of the poem gave it a patient waiting to its persona. I don't know if I butchered it but that's what I got from it. Like a feeling of a beautiful patient darkness. I'm weird huh? ;)"

"I know, I'm sorry! This isn't really the place for cliffhangers since you wait a month for the next chapter. It's running 6000 words already so I was kind of forced into it!"

"Hi Kay! Great stuff here...I think. I say "I think" not because of your work, it sounds beautiful, but I say it because of my ignorance in the art of poetry. Here's a little back story. I love reading, sci-fi and fantasy and have since grown to really love writing it. And studying it. And failing and trying again and all that jazz. Through my studies I've heard that some of the greatest fiction writers out there...love, write, study, surround themselves in poetry because of it's very use of words in a condensed form to evoke the deepest of emotions and thought. (I'm sure there's way more to it than that.) After reading some poetry, yours and others, I find that there is truth in that. So. I want read and study poetry to find the art in the use of words for the reasons above and so many more. So I now read poetry...but I don't know how to look for the art inside it. I will keep reading yours and others. Please, if you have any advice on how to understand, read, study poetry. I'll listen."

"Thanks Tom! Oh man, I love Firefly! That series definitely holds some inspiration here but I'm working really hard to make it my own story, as you will see in the coming chapters. I have some interesting debacles lined up for this crew. I do really appreciate your excitement for the story. I'm loving writing this series and your comment encourages me to keep going. This story is exciting and I'm hopeful to lay the down the words correctly to make it a lot of fun for you guys! Thanks!"
