I am a fun loving mother of two girls, and wife to an amazing man who works harder than anyone I know. I have many passions, one of the most important being storytelling. I firmly believe that the art of taking many kinds of truths and weaving them together into an epic story, whether through literal telling or metaphor, is one of the most important pillars of civilization, society, and humanity as a whole. 

My own stories are a mixture of history, mythology, science, theology, and a healthy dose of imagination to combine them all into a cohesive story. Most of them exist in my invented SciFi Fantasy Universe named Stâtéra, and many of them weave together into a tapestry of tales about divinity, humanity, and balance. They are my way of finding Understanding and Peace in our world that is so often defined by chaos and division. Especially lately.

I hope that my stories can serve the same purpose for anyone who chooses to read them. (Thank you in advance if you do!) I have spent much of my life witnessing and experiencing the strife and struggle of the suppressed and forgotten. I know the agony of abuse, the suffocation of depression, the incessant buzz of anxiety, the sharp sting of betrayal, the forlorn fog of loneliness, and the fateful kiss of death. They are echos of my past that still sometimes ripple into the present, clouding judgment and occasionally causing my steps to faulter, but they are also reminders of how precious each moment truly is.

So long as I am alive and breathing on this beautiful planet, I will do all I can to bring beauty, understanding, and healing into the world. My life now could not be more different than the life I had as a child, and I am filled to the brim with gratitude for each waking moment I have with my family, friends, animals, garden, and each magical and frustrating minute I spend writing. They are the breath that keeps me living and the spirit that keeps me going. I hope I can somehow share that gift with others through these stories and beyond, and I look forward to doing what I can to make that happen.

After all, "Stâtéra" literally means "Balance".
