Louis A. Grauso is currently a freelance screenplay writer for short films and features, as well as a student filmmaker. He has worked on several short films such as "Sweet Pea and Glass," "Pheasant," and "Screen Captured." Currently his short film script, "Looking-Glass of a Servant" is in consideration for the Slamdance Film Festival.
His origins find themselves deep within the marshlands of the Jersey Shore, where Summertime is set. Like the coarse-sanded beaches, Louis was also shaped by the lapping tides of classism, climate change, and wealth--or the lack thereof. There is a natural order to inequality, one of which Louis seeks to reverse the flow through Summertime.
