Arkansas based writer and poet, Melissa M. Frye, has spent the majority of her adult life studying the craft of fiction and non-fiction. Her first writing gig was a weekly movie review column in the local newspaper. Since then, she’s won the Poet Laureate Award from the Ozark Creative Writers Conference and placed second for the Sharp Award during the PRA Poetry Day celebrations. Melissa now uses her life experiences to craft realistic fiction novels. Though she loves to laugh, her stories tend to show the darker side of life.
