Charles Tashiro is a filmmaker, multimedia artist and writer whose work has been exhibited worldwide. His criticism has been published in such journals as Film Quarterly, Cineaste and Screen. His book Pretty Pictures: Production Design and the History Film is available from University of Texas Press. His recent novel, Looking Away is available in epub format from amazon, lulu, Barnes and Noble and kobo. He publishes videos regularly at vimeo as tashpix. His on-going film criticism blog “What I Watched Last Night…” is at Wordpress.
