SHANNON MASTROMONICO was born and raised in Montreal. She has been writing for almost thirty years, however, it is only in the last year that she has been working at honing her craft and submitting work.

Her poetry has been published in literary journals Montréal Writes, Persephone's Daughters, Snapdragon Journal, Harness Magazine and Medium, as well as in her recently self published chapbook. She also has two running series on Wattpad, a sci-fi/erotica story and a poetry book.

Currently, she is working on her first full length novel, which is a mix of anthropological science fiction, Utopia and theoretical physics.

Shannon also likes to read, draw, paint, pin/preserve moths, watch movies and listen to music. Everything is inspiration!

She lives with her husband and kitty, Calliope in the Laurentian Mountains.
