Brendan D. Burrow grew up in Los Angeles in the 1980's, and shortly after graduating high school, he enlisted in the Navy as a missile technician aboard the USS Pennsylvania, a ballistic nuclear submarine. He earned an associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in General Studies, though he majored in English and Film.

A self-described jack of all trades, he enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Sarah, and triplets who keep him busy in The Hoosier State, where she practices as an immigration defense attorney. 

He is a writer, storyteller, blues guitarist, and enjoys making short films in his spare time.
