Shelly Rodrigue is a New Orleans poet. She currently teaches English as a second language to children in China through an online platform. Her poems have won the Andrea Saunders Gereighty Academy of American Poets Poetry Award. Her poems have appeared in Guide to Kulchur Creative Journal, The Borfski Press, Fourth & Sycamore, Poets.org, Ellipsis, and most recently in the anthology Ms. Aligned 2: Women Writing About Men. Among her favoirte past times are reading, writing, kayaking, and star-gazing.
