   "I nodded in agreement the entire time I read this. I went to Adventist schools from 1st through 12th grade and it was the same thing, with the added bonus of nonfunctional jewelry being verboten. I do not miss that at all, and yet I have the same voices in my head judging my clothes, my jewelry (all of it is nonfunctional by their standards), my nail polish (currently a lovely navy blue)..."
