Duane M. Engelhardt is an American writer. The author of various short stories, Engelhardt in the novella Code of Silence looks back in time to a New York City that everyone wanted to visit, some of us will remember, and others would prefer to forget.

Whether traveling with a camera in search of that one particular photograph that captures the offbeat and the unusual, or sitting at a desk crafting a story, Engelhardt enjoys telling the tale, “I am at heart a storyteller”.
