Kellie is an author, freelance writer, and paralegal. She holds a degree in Political Science from Mississippi State University and a certificate in Paralegal Studies from Louisiana State University.  A Certified Paralegal in her field, she's a member of NALA. Her current series The Laurelhurst Chronicles began as a 2013 NaNoWriMo winning submission. She lives in a historic small town in Mississippi with her cocker spaniel Chip.

Kellie credits her love of reading, writing, and a sense of adventure to her maternal grandmother. She is influenced by Daphne du Maurier, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Sir Author Conan Doyle, William Wordsworth, Evelyn Waugh, Emlyn Williams, C.S. Lewis, and Alfred Hitchcock. 

Kellie enjoys reading, music, classic film, hiking, knitting, and yoga. Coffee and yarn shops are her friends.
