Born and bred in Glasgow, I've been writing stories since I could write with my left hand. But after serious writers cramp, I was ecstatic when I was given a typewriter for my Christmas, at the age of 11 (the same as Stephen King).  There was no stopping me now. 

I would write short stories for my family, who were always the starring roles, as well as poems.  Now I have written five novels, consisting of paranormal thrillers, horror, children's fantasy fiction and more recently, pyschological thriller which I have added onto this series, A Fatal Influence.

Although I have been writing since I was knee high, I am still an unpublished author (apart from a few poems). Writing is my hobby, as well as being a mother to my ten year old son, one large Alaskan Malamute to a tiny chihuahua.  Some days I work as a security guard at festivals and football.  I love this job, as I get to meet different people with an array of personalities.  Great homework for characters.  But I write because I love stepping out of my own body and into the World of Claire's imagination.  It's endless!
