I was born in the North of England where I spent a geeky youth reading books. I liked the library so much librarians would find me curled up asleep in the aisles still gripping on to a good book. After a misspent youth which was lived out in various places such as Venice, New York and Slovakia I now live in Scotland with my film-maker husband, my baby son and a bunny called Buttons.
