and poetry is less about grammar

and more about guts

less of form

more of flowing blood from heart to hands

(cadence is lesser than credence)

keep to yourself the work without wonder

and give me the wilds words

because more often the stumbles say more than the stanzas

a trip and fall means more than a waltz

and poems are less about saying

and even less about sense

and more about stars in the dark
