“Despite the level of progress, there are some disturbing occurrences taking place within the Ark Project team.  First, the resignation letter from Homeland Security Director Robert Eden is an unexpected loss.  Add this to the fact that his entire family seems to have gone completely off the grid as of thirty-six hours ago is highly suspect.  Second is the fact that Dr. Thorn, the project team leader, seems to have dropped out of sight.  He is still communicating via email, instant message systems, and even in video chat, but no one has physically seen him in more than three weeks.  Given the level of technology with which we are dealing, sentient technology, any form of remote communication should be considered suspect.  There are now five out of seven Ark A.I.’s...
