“To say that I am uneasy about how much control we have given to a group of video game personas with an inflated sense of self would have to be characterized as an understatement.  While I agree that we are in a time of crisis, perhaps the worst crisis the human race as ever faced, I am amazed that none of the members of Congress bothered to note that we are likely in this crisis because we let technology run amuck in the first place.  Now we’ve decided the best solution is to give the reins over to technology completely to steer us clear, or better yet, to shepherd us through the storm.  We’ve essentially turned ourselves into willing sheep.  I’m not sure if that’s irony or insanity.  Either way, it doesn’t matter to me.  I’m an administrator. ...
