In July, we received a letter telling us Billy was officially accepted for recruiter training and given his starting schooling date. After his training was complete, he would be stationed in Burlington. A city about 45 minutes north of Quincy. Far enough away that we decided he should get an apartment up there, but it was still close enough that he could come down during the week and on weekends.
     In between Billy finishing school and during his short leave from starting in Burlington, we decided to celebrate with a BBQ and invited all of our friends to join us. After all the troubles and hardships since Billy's return, I finally felt like we truly had something to celebrate.
