Sitting on a hill in Fort Lenard Wood, I waited for Billy's release from the military. All along the hillside, I saw other couples and families coming together, hugging and crying, happy to be together once again. Watching the building that Billy would emerge from, I saw him exit and look up the hill at me. Waving, I stood and waited for him. Disappearing briefly as he climbed the short hill, he crested the top, and I had my first good look at him, and echoing in my mind, I heard, "Then I saw a beast coming up from out of the earth, he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon."
