     After 15 months of deployment, in two different states, my husband was finally coming home! Even though it was a stateside deployment, his absence had still been hard on me and the kids, and we were all excited for his return.
     Because I'm always a planner, I made arrangements for Billy to enjoy a two-month leave of absence from work, before he even had his discharge papers in hand. Using a combination of leave coming from the military, accumulated vacation time from the Vets Home where he worked, and additional money I saved up over his deployment I could cover the rest of the time without stressing my finances.
