After ringing the bell at the divorce party, it was now time to convince Don, something easier said than done, I assure you. He refused to believe our relationship was ending, refused to move out of the house, refused even to consider the fact I did not love him anymore. I was simply mistaken, he insisted, and if given enough time, I would see the errors of my ways. All he had to do was stay put long enough for me to realize it.
     In a blistering fight the day after the divorce party, Don stated, "I will not leave now, I will not leave at all! The only reason I would ever leave you is if you cheated on me!" Nodding his head, and crossing his arms, he stood firm in his conviction.
