As an avid gamer, Don attended multiple gaming conventions during the year. Some were small, maybe a few dozen people sitting around playing games at various tables, to huge ones that took over entire convention halls, almost becoming small cities in their own right. From my first introduction, I fell instantly in love with this world and the people who inhabited it. I would wander around and talk to the dealers, the artists, and enjoy the throngs of people of almost every description, and a few that defied all rational understanding, making new friends wherever he took me.
