With the purpose of divorcing Erick, I acquired a lawyer and began the tedious process of getting him out of my life. But sadly, it is far easier said than done, because if someone doesn't want a divorce, no power on earth can compel them to sign the papers. If this happens, you are forced to keep going through the motions over and over again, until something, eventually, changes and the courts grant your divorce.
