Many years ago I first met Mike as a wickedly good bartender, at my favorite place to drink, the Forum. Neither one of us knew way back then when he walked up to me and asked, "What'll you have?" how far that sentence would take us.
     Over the years, we've supported each other through marriages, divorces, relationships, hardships, and stupidity. We've stood by each other when the world was against us, and on occasion turned against each other when our personalities clashed once too often. We have cheerfully called for the others death and held the other's hand when things have gone bad. We have seen the very worst, and the very best in each other and we can still talk, sometimes every day for hours, or go months without a word and still be as close.
