Just as my marriage was starting off on its rocky road, David's to Amie was grinding to its end. The downhill slide that started at my wedding was quickly picking up steam as it approached the bottom. From the beginning, I questioned his decision to marry her, just as he probably questioned mine to Erick, but if so, both of us had decided to keep our opinions to ourselves.
