CHANNILLO
What Rises From the Depths
By K.A. Crystal

Series Description:

Endric Inuusuttoq is a cocky and stubbornly independent 19-year-old. He knows a thing or two about swordfighting. He's confident. He's winning bouts in the arena everyday. He lives for the sound of his name as it's cheered from a crowd.

But when the ship he's boarded for passage to his next tournament is taken over by pirates, everything changes.

He is cruelly maimed.

He is tossed overboard.

He is left for dead.

When he wakes up, he has been rescued and he is safe and somehow, he is alive, but things are not the same. In addition to taking his right hand--his sword hand--it seems the pirates have taken something else he once thought vital for his livelihood:  his sight.

So what's a guy to do? Well, get his revenge, naturally.

If only things were as simple as that.

Author Bio For K.A. Crystal:

K.A. Crystal is one of "those" authors who has been writing for as long as she can remember. Originally a Hoosier and now living in Texas, she lives happily with her wife and her tuxedo cat. One of these days, she'll have a dog.

Acknowledgements:

There are SO many people who were behind this labor of love that I have to thank. I'm pretty sure I'll be continually coming back to this page to update it and add even more names to the pile of those who have been part of making this story possible, let alone fun.

Big thanks to my wife, who has been here since Day 0 before this story was even a concept, back when we were still playing Dungeons & Dragons with our two characters:  Endric and Mordecai "Staunch." She was here at their conception, and she was there at our favorite coffee shop across the table from me when I first said, "What if I wrote a pirate story about them?" She's still here even now, continually giving her enthusiastic support. I would be no where, absolutely no where, without her.

Also big thanks to my dear friend Fran! My so, so talented friend Fran who I commissioned and is behind the amazing cover art for this story. Because of you Fran, my story has a face now. And it's a beautiful face and I love it and I owe you so much for continually being supportive and encouraging and when I need it most, a voice of reason. Thanks for always speaking your mind and enthusiastically offering feedback on everything I show you. You are patient and thorough. This would not be possible without you.
