“Alright boys and girls,” Sgt. Banks directed. “At your bunks. Top bunk stands to the left, bottom bunk to the right. At Attention, cut speed.”
     We did as instructed.
     “Good. That’s an improvement. You will notice there is an amber light in the ceiling of your barracks.” Actually I hadn’t. I don’t think any of us had. We all looked up at the same time. The bulb was definitely amber, but it wasn’t lit at the moment. “This barracks boys and girls is your only sanctuary on base. Aside from here and the shower room, every other location in camp is either full of cameras, full of drones, or both. This is what you signed up for, to be vid stars. Congratulations, you’re on the vid.”
