The two other thugs responded, one bouncing another ineffective blaster bolt off the Vulpine armor and the other grabbing Andrus' swinging arm.

Andrus dropped what was left of the first thug: a closed-casket-corpse. He grabbed the second and flung him into a steel I-beam pillar. For the third, he drew his blaster and put a bolt through his forehead. The security guard who’d tackled the I-beam was still alive, moaning and aching on the floor. Andrus walked over to him, raised one boot, and squashed the man’s head like roadkill under a truck. With the three thugs extinguished, Andrus turned back to the one-armed man.
