In the highest mountain behind Castle Dracula, in a deep cave, something awoke. 

He had awakened each night for years, but this was different.  Those ramblings within his dark tomb were dreamlike wanderings for the meager sustenance provided by bats and rats.  Once satiated, he returned to slumber.

Now he was awake – awake and alive like he hadn’t been for centuries.  All of his senses were tuned to the night world beyond the cave.  He had last had this sensation in ancient times, when warring tribes had swept across the land.  Now, once again, a great bloodletting was at hand.
