Sister Marina lay her hand on the woman’s forehead. In previous nights it had been clammy and slick, coated with a cold perspiration that was accompanied by incoherent mutterings and agitated body movements. Clearly, this young woman had survived some traumatic events.
Tonight was different. Her skin was dry and smooth, and had a healthy warm glow that did not imply fever or sickness.
After several sleepless nights, Sister Marina was relieved that their guest was getting better.
