Mina’s first sensation was warmth.  It felt so strange and impossible that she knew for sure that she had died on the mountainside.

She felt a strong hand on her shoulder and hoped that she would be granted entrance into the kingdom of heaven.  She opened her eyes to face the creator.

“God?” she asked, shielding her eyes from the bright light.

“Not quite,” a deep voice replied.  Mina’s eyes swam back into focus and she realized the extent of her mistake.  She might need a savior after all.

The man before her was a man of war, certainly not Christ but managing to show great compassion in his dark eyes nonetheless.  His long hair, once black but now graying, streamed down his broad shoulders.  Sunlight glinted off of his majestic...
