“Have a wonderful day!” She chirps, blushing as she hands Zeke the bag. He echoes her well wishes and I snatch my own bag before making a beeline for the exit. We make it outside just as the entrance explodes with people. Zeke jogs up beside me as we exit, giving me a look, “Really?”

 

“What?” I bark, hustling across the plaza in the direction of my car. I was eager to get home and get everything set up.
